So, I haven't told too many people yet that I'm pregnant. I guess that's why I'm here, writing it all out. Obviously, my husband knows, and so do most of our families. But I haven't really told anyone else yet. I really wanted to keep it between Kevin and me for a couple of weeks, but that was too hard... we HAD to tell someone!
So we decided to tell our parents and our siblings, but to keep it pretty quiet otherwise. Well, that didn't really work out. Instead, Kevin has told just about EVERYONE he knows, while I have only told one person... I guess I'm just bummed because we never got to have it as something that was just ours. It was like it happened and immediately the world knew. Kind of sucks that he's friends with the whole town practically, because he doesn't feel that it's fair to just tell one friend, but really, I wish that's all he had done... But it's too late now, so I guess I am moving on...
BUT we are surprising some good family friends with the news, so we are keeping it hush hush from them for now. I think we are going to tell them about it this weekend! It should be pretty exciting! :)
Basically though, I am between 5 and 6 weeks pregnant, though we don't know for sure. We used a conception date calculator online to figure out about when we conceived, and then a due date calculator to figure out that the due date would probably be about July 3rd. But as I said, we used online resources, so who knows how accurate those will be! My first appointment is November 23, so I guess we will find out for sure then!
